Robert Maskell – Audiobook Reader
Robert Maskell is a trusted stalwart of the British stage, having performed in countless productions over the past 20 years.
Notably he has played the role of Uncle Max in the Sound of Music at the London Palladium and played both Georges and Albin in the smash hit La Cages Aux Folles at the Playhouse. He has also starred in the Olivier award-winning End of the Rainbow which sold out theatres up and down the UK, and was a huge hit with audiences as Roger Zimmerman in yet another sell out show – Birds of a Feather.
Robert has also paid his dues to The Bard and has played a variety of Shakespearean kings including Henry IV, Edward IV and Richard III.
He is also very much in demand as a voice artist and has lent his dulcet tones and remarkable acting talents to some critically acclaimed commercial campaigns, including, most recently, The Big Bad Grolsch campaign for award-winning agency BMB.
Robert’s vocal talents have also enabled him to perform musically at the highest level. He spent two decades as a master exponent of the French Horn including a 10 year career with The Philharmonia.
Always eager to stretch himself with challenging new roles, Robert has embraced the audiobook world and we are very glad to have secured his talents.
